Susan G. Komen for the Cure was established in 1982 by Nancy Brinker to honor the memory of her sister, Susan G. Komen, who died from breast cancer at the age of 36. This year, our 25th anniversary, we are shifting into another gear, recommitting to finally, once and for all, finish what we started. Susan G. Komen for the Cure: new name, new logo, same promise - to end breast cancer forever.
